I am Katarina – creator of natural products and founder of the KataLonca brand.
My path has always been connected to nature and a healthy lifestyle, so it is no coincidence that I have combined my knowledge and heart into creating clothing and cosmetics that are friendly to both people and the environment.
I began my story by continuing a family craft, where we produced fabric from Egyptian knit and dyed it with eco-friendly dyes. From this, we created comfortable, skin-friendly clothing for babies, children, and adults.
Unfortunately, the decline of the textile industry in Slovenia brought major changes – it was no longer possible to source high-quality yarn or dye fabric, so this is no longer something we can do today. It was a difficult decision, but because I believe that every closed door opens a new one, we found a different path.
Today, we work with high-quality Turkish knit, dyed with eco-friendly dyes, and from it we still create garments that carry the same heart and quality as before.

Alongside clothing, cosmetics naturally entered my world. After many courses and research, I first began creating natural solid soaps from vegetable butters and oils, enriched with herbs, clay, salt, honey, and more. Over time, I expanded my collection with:
– natural solid shampoo bars for all hair types,
– lip balms in different flavors,
– natural deodorants with zeolite (baking soda-free),
– salt and sugar body scrubs,
– and various glycerin soaps in different shapes, which bring joy and playfulness.
Each product is handmade with love and attention to detail, because I believe that what we put on our skin should be natural and safe.
Because I believe that beauty also comes from within, I have completed the first and second level of the Usui Reiki training method, as well as a general body massage course. In this way, I have expanded my mission into the field of well-being, where I combine care for both body and mind.
Everything I create is made with nature and people in mind. I am convinced that by choosing natural products, we do the most for ourselves, our health, and our planet.

KataLonca soaps are natural soaps, made using an ultra-cold process. Made with cold-pressed oils, herbs, and natural essential oils and colorants. They cleanse the skin while also deeply nourishing it.
These natural soaps are kind to your skin and to nature and handmade. They cleanse, nourish, balance moisture, and relax. The soaps contain no artificial colorants, petroleum derivatives, silicones, preservatives, skin softeners, perfumes or fragrances, or environmentally harmful ingredients. The products are not tested on animals.

REASONS TO USE NATURAL KATALONCA COSMETICS:
Because they contain VEGETABLE OILS AND BUTTERS
High-quality natural products are made from nourishing oils such as olive, sunflower, or castor oil, and butters like coconut and palm butter. Naturally, these products are enriched with vegetable glycerin, which is known to hydrate and nourish the skin without drying it out.
In contrast to commercial solid soaps or shower gels, natural solid soaps do not contain various harmful chemicals, surfactants, artificial foaming agents, paraffins, chemical stabilizers, or fragrances that are proven endocrine disruptors and can disturb the skin’s natural balance. In most commercial soaps, glycerin is removed or present only in very small amounts.
PRODUCTS HAVE LONG-TERM USE
Natural solid soap typically lasts 2–3 times longer than a shower gel (when properly stored in a dry place). The main ingredient in liquid soap is water, while solid soaps are mainly made of oils and butters that nourish the skin and help maintain its natural balance.
NATURAL PRODUCTS ARE GOOD FOR US AND THE ENVIRONMENT
When we think about how much plastic packaging accumulates over time from using products such as shower gels or liquid hand soap, it becomes clear how impactful our choices are. We pay for the production of plastic packaging, and we also pay for the valuable water that is the main ingredient in these products.
An ecological alternative for skincare is natural products, as they come in minimal packaging and contain no added water.
PRODUCTS ARE FREE OF PRESERVATIVES
In the production of natural products, there is no need for preservatives to keep them fresh, safe, and effective for a long time, as these products do not contain water. All commercial shower gels contain water in their formulation and therefore must be properly preserved.
PRODUCTS CONTAIN NATURAL INGREDIENTS
Take a look at the ingredients of a shower gel or a commercial bar soap. Do you actually know what they mean? With natural solid soaps, you know and understand every single ingredient because everything comes from nature.
When reading the ingredients of natural solid soaps, your tongue doesn’t “twist” like it often does when reading the ingredients of commercial soaps and shower gels.
