TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These general terms and conditions are drawn up in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot), based on the recommendations of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (GZS) and international e-commerce codes. Purchases are available in Slovenian only.
PRODUCT PRICES
All prices in the catalogue are in EUR and already include 22% value added tax (VAT). The seller guarantees that the item price will not change from purchase to delivery. Prices are online prices and apply to online purchases.
OFFER VALIDITY
Unless otherwise stated in the product description, the offer is valid while stocks last. Once an item is sold out, it is removed—either it is no longer visible in the offer or it is marked with a price of €0.00 or the note “out of stock”.
PRODUCT QUALITY
The supplier guarantees that all products are made from high-quality raw materials and are of Slovenian origin, as all products are made in our own production.

BY PRO FORMA INVOICE
After placing your order, transfer the payment to our bank account (TRR): SI56 0400 0027 8692 775, opened with OTP banka d.d., PE Škofja Loka
Please pay the pro forma invoice within one to two (business) days from the order date. On the third day, the reservation will expire and we will return the item to the shop.
In this case, the package preparation and shipping cost is €5.90 and is already included in the total order price.
IN PERSON ON COLLECTION
Payment on collection at the company headquarters: Strojan d.o.o., Virlog 14, 4220 Škofja Loka.
In this case, the order has no shipping cost.
DISCOUNT CODE
A discount code or promotional code provides various benefits when shopping in the KataLonca.si online store. You can find an active code on the homepage of an advertising message, in a KataLonca email, or in other media. Each code is always time-limited and must be used within the specified period, otherwise it becomes invalid.
USING A DISCOUNT CODE
– Select the products you want to buy and add them to your cart.
– At checkout, enter the discount code in the “promo code” field and click the
“confirm” button.
– Only one discount code can be used per purchase.
– After you enter the discount code, its value is automatically deducted from your order total. The remaining amount must still be paid.
DELIVERY TIME
If natural soap or other natural products are in stock, you can receive them within three to five business days; otherwise within 10 business days, or, if the soap needs to be made anew, within two months (we will inform the customer of the delivery time).
DELIVERY
Delivery of ordered goods is carried out via Pošta Slovenije, GLS, or DPD. Delivery is limited to the territory of Slovenia. If you choose in-store pickup in Škofja Loka, please wait for a message confirming that your order is ready for collection.
DELIVERY COSTS
Delivery costs are fixed. The delivery cost is calculated during the ordering process and is final.
Package preparation and delivery cost is €5.90 for bank transfer to our TRR (pro forma invoice) and/or payment by credit or debit card. For in-person collection at the company headquarters, delivery is free. Package preparation with shipping is also free for purchases over €60.00 when using the code “DOSTAVA”.
RETURN WITHIN 14 DAYS (Consumer’s right to withdraw from the contract)
The consumer (this applies exclusively to natural persons who acquire goods for purposes outside their gainful activity) has the right to notify the company within 14 days of receiving the goods (email: info@katalonca.si) that they are withdrawing from the contract, without having to state a reason for their decision. The period begins one day after the date of receipt. The only cost borne by the consumer in connection with withdrawal from the contract is the cost of returning the goods (which, in the case of shipping, is charged according to the delivery service’s price list and depends on whether it is a shipment/package/freight). The goods must be returned to the seller no later than 14 days from the sent notice of withdrawal from the contract (purchase). The consumer does not have the right to withdraw from the contract for contracts where the subject is goods made according to the consumer’s exact instructions, adapted to their personal needs, and which by their nature are not suitable for return.
The received goods must be returned undamaged and in unchanged quantity, unless the goods have been destroyed, spoiled, lost, or their quantity has decreased without the consumer being at fault.
The consumer may not use the goods freely until withdrawal from the contract. The consumer may inspect and test the goods only to the extent necessary to determine their actual condition.
Testing the goods beyond the above is considered use of the goods, which means the consumer loses the right to withdraw from the contract.
In the event of withdrawal from a contract where a bonus, discount code, or promotional code was used, these funds are treated as a discount and are not refunded to the user. Only the paid product amount excluding shipping is refunded to the user’s TRR. A gift voucher is treated as a means of payment and is returned to the user as a gift voucher, while the paid amount is refunded to the user’s TRR.
Refunds will be made as soon as possible, and no later than 14 days from receipt of the notice of withdrawal. To ensure certainty, accuracy, and timely refunds, and to keep payment records, refunds are made exclusively by bank transfer to the customer’s transaction or personal account. Cash refunds are not possible!
Returning the received goods to the company within the withdrawal period is considered notice of withdrawal from the contract.
In exceptional cases where products are not returned in accordance with ZVPot, we may offer the consumer a buyback of the product with appropriate compensation, determined by a written record upon return. A buyback at a reduced value is applied upon the consumer’s confirmation by email. The consumer may use this buyback amount exclusively when ordering another product of the same or higher value.

In the event of withdrawal from the contract, the consumer returns the received item by post or brings it in person to the seller’s address.
The right to a refund, warranty, material defects, and improperly performed services is regulated in more detail by the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act (unofficial consolidated text).
PRODUCT EXCHANGE
If the type or scent of the soap or another natural product does not suit the customer, they may exchange it by first notifying the manufacturer to arrange the return. Shipping is at the customer’s expense and is not refunded when returning a product (it is deducted from the final amount paid). The product must not be used. It must be in its original packaging and undamaged. Otherwise, we may refuse the product.
An exchange is also not possible if the product is made to the customer’s wishes and order.
COLOURS AND SIZES OF SOAPS / COSMETIC PRODUCTS
Soaps are handmade, and each batch may differ in colour, pattern, weight, shape, and various additives,…
Soaps are also cut by hand, so there may be minor variations in the weight of each piece.
MATERIAL DEFECTS
When is a defect considered material? When:
– the item does not have the properties necessary for its normal use or for sale
– the item does not have the properties necessary for the specific use for which the buyer is purchasing it, and which was known to the seller or should have been known to them
– the item does not have the properties and features that were expressly or implicitly agreed or prescribed
– the seller delivered an item that does not match the sample or model, unless the sample or model was shown only for information.
How is the suitability of an item checked?
It is checked against another flawless item of the same type, and also by the manufacturer’s statements or the information on the item itself.
How do you claim a material defect?
The buyer must notify us of any potential material defect within two months, together with a detailed description, and at the same time allow us to inspect the item. The material defect claim form is available HERE.
The right to claim a material defect on an item is regulated in more detail by the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act.
SECURITY
After placing an order, the buyer receives an email notification that the order has been received.
KataLonca – natural cosmetics, Strojan d.o.o. may call the buyer on their contact phone number to verify details or to ensure delivery accuracy.
The purchase process for legal entities is exactly the same as for natural persons, except that at checkout they also enter the company name and VAT number. Payment options are the same.
COMMUNICATION
KataLonca – natural cosmetics, Strojan d.o.o. will contact the user via remote communication means only if the user explicitly consents. Advertising emails and/or SMS messages will contain the following elements:
they will be clearly and unambiguously marked as advertising messages,
the sender will be clearly identifiable,
various campaigns, promotions, and other marketing techniques will be marked as such.
The terms of participation will also be clearly defined:
the method for unsubscribing from advertising messages will be clearly presented,
the user’s wish not to receive advertising messages will be explicitly respected by KataLonca – natural cosmetics,

RATINGS, REVIEWS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Reviews, ratings, and recommendations written by customers are part of the online store’s functionality and are intended for the community of all users.
Katalonca – natural cosmetics, Strojan d.o.o. allows any online store user to write a review, and the seller reviews them before final publication.
KataLonca – natural cosmetics, Strojan d.o.o. will not publish reviews or contributions that are in any way offensive, inappropriate, or that, in the seller’s assessment, do not benefit other users and visitors.
By submitting a review or comment, the user expressly agrees to the terms of use of their review or comment and allows the seller to publish part or all of the text in all electronic and other media. The seller has the right to use the content of the review or comment for an unlimited time and for any purpose that is in the seller’s business interest, including publication in advertisements or other marketing communications. The author of the review also declares and guarantees that they own the material and moral copyrights to the submitted reviews and comments, and that they transfer these rights to the seller on a non-exclusive and unlimited-time basis.
LEGAL NOTICE
The KataLonca – natural cosmetics online store and all data on it, product images, and graphic and video elements on the website are protected and may not be reproduced or used without prior written permission. KataLonca is also not responsible for any issues users may experience while using natural products. Use of all products is at your own risk!
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
KataLonca – natural cosmetics, Strojan d.o.o. makes every effort to ensure that the information published on its website is up to date and accurate. Nevertheless, product features, delivery times, or prices may change so quickly that the seller may sometimes be unable to update the information on the website in time. In such a case, the seller will inform the customer of the changes and allow them to withdraw from the contract or exchange the ordered item.
HEALTH CLAIMS DISCLAIMER
Products are cosmetic products in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009 and are not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent disease.
DISCLAIMER
We reserve the right to disable the website or disable access to it due to technical or other issues and maintenance, which may also prevent or hinder the use of the online store. In the event of technical issues on the website, we reserve the right to cancel submitted orders affected by the technical error. If orders are cancelled, we will notify you as soon as possible and inform you of the next steps. You must ensure appropriate protection of your equipment (antivirus, etc.) when accessing and using the website. The buyer must ensure adequate security and confidentiality of the data used to log in to the website (email address, password).
COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTES
KataLonca – natural cosmetics, Strojan d.o.o. complies with applicable European consumer protection legislation. KataLonca – natural cosmetics, Strojan d.o.o. makes every effort to fulfil its duty to establish an effective complaints handling system and to designate a person whom the customer can contact by phone or email in case of problems.
A complaint is submitted via email to info@katalonca.si. The complaint handling procedure is confidential. KataLonca – natural cosmetics, Strojan d.o.o. will confirm within five business days that it has received the complaint, inform the customer how long it will be handled, and keep them informed of the progress throughout the process.
KataLonca – natural cosmetics, Strojan d.o.o. is aware that a key characteristic of a consumer dispute, at least as regards court proceedings, is the disproportion between the economic value of the claim and the costs incurred in resolving the dispute itself. This is also the main obstacle preventing consumers from initiating court proceedings. Therefore, KataLonca – natural cosmetics, Strojan d.o.o. strives to resolve any disputes amicably, to the best of its ability.
In the event of court dispute resolution, the competent court is the court of the consumer’s permanent residence.
OUT-OF-COURT CONSUMER DISPUTE RESOLUTION
In accordance with legal requirements, we do not recognise any out-of-court consumer dispute resolution provider as competent to resolve a consumer dispute that a consumer may initiate under the Out-of-Court Consumer Dispute Resolution Act. The company KataLonca – natural cosmetics, Strojan d.o.o., as a provider of goods and services offering an online store in Slovenia, publishes on its website an electronic link to the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform. The platform is available to consumers via the link HERE.
This arrangement is based on the Out-of-Court Consumer Dispute Resolution Act, Regulation (EU) No. 524/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council on online dispute resolution for consumer disputes, and amending Regulation (EC) No. 2016/2004 and Directive 2009/22/EC.
